Sutra Copying Practice
Through the practice of sutra-copying, we develop one-pointedness in the practice of Buddhism. Our mind is focused on the text and our hands are carefully tracing the wholesome words of the sutra. The practice calms our body and mind, develops concentration on a wholesome attribute, and when a practitioner is doing it without wandering thoughts, we say the practitioner returned to the “mind before thinking“.
At Kwan Yin Chan Lin Zen Meditation Centre (KYCL), we provide a conducive space for practitioners who would like to practice on Sutra Copying.
